  • We're leaving together
    But still it's farewell
    And maybe we'll come back
    To earth, who can tell?
I guess there is no one to blame
    We're leaving ground
Will things ever be the same again?
    It's the final countdown

  • Summer has come and passed
    The innocent can never last
Wake me up when September ends
Like my father's come to pass
Seven years has gone so fast
Wake me up when September ends

    [Chorus]
    Here comes the rain again
    Falling from the stars
    Drenched in my pain again
    Becoming who we are
    As my memory rests
But never forgets what I lost
Wake me up when September ends
Summer has come and passed The innocent can never last Wake me up when September ends Like my father's come to pass Seven years has gone so fast Wake me up when September ends [Chorus] Here comes the rain again Falling from the stars Drenched in my pain again Becoming who we are As my memory rests But never forgets what I lost Wake me up when September ends

  • "Holiday"

    Say, hey!

Hear the sound of the falling rain
Coming down like an Armageddon flame (Hey!)
    The shame
The ones who died without a name

Hear the dogs howling out of key
To a hymn called "Faith and Misery" (Hey!)
And bleed, the company lost the war today

I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies
This is the dawning of the rest of our lives
    On holiday

    Kathmandu, November 9

President of Bangladesh Md Abdul Hamid will be paying an official goodwill visit to Nepal from November 12 to 15 at the invitation of President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.

Bangladesh President Hamid will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Tribhuvan International Airport upon his arrival, stated a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the visit, President Hamid will meet with President Bhandari.

President Bhandari will host a banquet in honour of the Bangladesh president and his delegation.

Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Chairperson of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali will call on President Hamid.

Senior political leaders of various parties will also call on the president of Bangladesh.

While in Nepal, Bangladesh President Hamid will also be visiting the Lake City Pokhara and historical, archaeological and cultural sites in Kathmandu valley.

When asked what agenda will be discussed during President Hamid’s visit, Assistant Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Suresh Adhikari said that the two sides were still trying to finalise agenda to be discussed, but as this was a high-level visit, it was natural for the two sides to discuss all issues of mutual interests.

Bangladeshi news portal www.thedailystar.net had recently reported that Bangladesh and Nepal would hold talks on Preferential Trade Agreement and BBIN (Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal) Motor Vehicles Agreement during President Hamid’s Nepal visit.

Another Bangladesh news portal www.dhakatribune.com had reported recently that on the sidelines of the 18th Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Azerbaijan on October 26, Bangladesh Prime Minister Seikh Hasina had
requested Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to finalise the PTA with Nepal during President Hamid’s upcoming visit to Nepal.

Both the news portals had stated that PM Oli and Hasina had reached agreement to make the BBIN agreement functional.

  • All the members of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s private secretariat, including advisers, tendered their resignation to the prime minister yesterday. The resignations will come into effect on November 17.

A member of the PM’s private secretariat told THT that the resignations were tendered to help the PM form a new team. A source added that the PM had sought their resignations.

Meanwhile, PM’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Rajan Bhattarai tweeted that he was departing for the US to attend a meeting between Asian political leaders and US Congressmen on November 13 and 14 in Capital Hill, Washington, DC.

He added that the meeting would focus on trade and energy issues.

One of the PM’s advisers told THT that the PM wanted to send a message to his Cabinet members to voluntarily quit so that he could form a new Cabinet to make the government’s performance more effective.

“The PM’s main target is Cabinet members. He wants them to resign,” he said.

Another source said the PM was not satisfied with the performance of some of his Cabinet members but he didn’t want to remove them from the Cabinet as that could adversely affect their public image. “I think the PM will call a Cabinet meeting and tell the ministers to resign en masse so that he could form a new Cabinet. Some of the current members of the Cabinet could again be inducted in the new Cabinet,” he said.

He added that Cabinet members would deem it appropriate to tender their resignation rather than suffer the ignominy of being sacked for inefficiency’.

An NCP leader who is close to party Co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal added that the PM was thinking of reshuffling his Cabinet and he had not taken any formal decision yet. “The PM has been talking about reshuffling his Cabinet. I think he will soon ask Cabinet ministers to resign en masse,” the source added.

Spokesperson for the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Narayan Kaji Shrestha told THT that the PM’s public speeches hinted that he wanted to reshuffle the Cabinet to improve its performance but the PM has not taken any formal decision so far. When asked if the PM wanted to reshuffle the Cabinet, deputy parliamentary party leader of the NCP Subas Chandra Nembang said reshuffling the Cabinet was the PM’s prerogative and he could do it anytime.

    Who all resigned

    PM’s Chief Adviser Bishnu Rimal
    PM’s Press Adviser Kundan Aryal
PM’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Rajan Bhattarai
PM’s Public Relations Adviser Achyut Mainali
    PM’s Press Coordinator Chetan Adhikari
    Media Expert Ram Sharan Bajgai

there is a little life remaining
a new heart beat came up
i got to know that i am still alive
    some such tenacity
    is there in this moment
where was this moment of mine
now it,s in front of me
should i die or should i live a little
should i kiss joy or should i cry a little
should i die or live for a while
