Amazon's long-delayed MMO is undergoing another test, which may then be launched at the end of September.

After many delays, the new world will be officially released on September 28. Prior to this, on September 9, Amazon's MMO will enter the public beta for the last public test.

Best Place to buy new world coins

This news comes from a new Gamescom trailer (embedded above), which once again establishes the historical fantasy premise of a new world: you have come to a legendary island, where treasures are hidden waiting to be discovered, but black magic may swallow greed sailor.

This is a good trailer, but it doesn't fully explain the feeling of the new world. If you want to better understand the actual situation of the battle, I have included some game gifs in my preview of one of the new world dungeons.

And, of course, you can try it yourself at the beginning of the public beta. Apart from technical issues (one of the reasons for the last delay, after the closed test), it should be easy to enter. Amazon is using the game testing feature recently added by Steam, so you can directly request access to the open beta on the New World Steam page and download it when appropriate.

During the closed beta, Sarah found that the game's opening hours were formulaic and dirty, but there were more MMOs to explore. The next beta will run from Thursday, September 9th to Sunday, September 12th, so this will be another fairly brief look, at least in terms of MMO.

If Amazon finally stops postponing the new world, it will be fully released on Steam on September 28 at a price of $40. MMO has the potential to become the first major game successfully released by an e-commerce company, if we see its excitement continue (Evan talked about this in his recent analysis of the Steam wish list).
