Many players were ecstatic when Animal Crossing's new pumpkin farming feature was first introduced, but little has been done with buy NMT animal crossing since then to keep it fresh and interesting. With the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the most recent installment in the series, a number of new gameplay mechanics have been introduced to the franchise. In the game's fall update, one of the more exciting additions was the addition of farming, which allowed players to grow their own pumpkins for use in homemade recipes. The ability to farm was one of the most eagerly anticipated additions to the game. In the intervening period, however, the feature has received little attention within the game, leading some players to believe that they have been duped.

Given the popularity of games like Stardew Valley and other similar farming simulations in recent years, it's no surprise that the farming mechanics in Animal Crossing have piqued people's interest. As relaxing, violence-free games with similar objectives - befriending villagers and living in harmony with the land are two major points of emphasis in both games - and are frequently compared to one another, New Horizons and Stardew Valley are two games that are frequently compared to one another. Cottage Living, The Sims 4's latest farming-themed expansion pack, was announced earlier this summer to a similar amount of anticipation in the game's online community.

Given that New Horizons had previously been criticized for having a lack of interesting features, the addition of new gameplay elements was also greatly appreciated. Some Animal Crossing fans who have played the game for a long time believe that the game is lacking in terms of furniture, special characters, and familiar locations, and they are correct. However, despite the fact that the game has received several significant updates in order to improve this, the majority of New Horizons' events take the form of annual repeating holidays that rarely provide players with significant new content to engage with on a consistent basis. Farmers were among the first to break the mold when farming was introduced, and many people have expressed disappointment that it has fallen out of favor since then.

How New Horizons may be able to make better use of agricultural resources. Following some players' suggestions, an Animal Crossing: New Horizons DLC pack may place a greater emphasis on farmers. According to these players, the DLC pack may include additional crops and tools for players to use in order to make the most of their garden spaces. Different crops could allow for a greater variety of recipes to be created, and they could also serve as a new source of income for farmers looking to increase their profits. The ability to cook could even be introduced into the game, with players using their crops to prepare recipes for themselves or for the benefit of the villagers. Aside from that, the inclusion of something akin to a cooking book for players to fill out could potentially free up space for the inclusion of additional content for those players who are attempting to complete every checklist in the game.

It was discovered earlier this year that an Animal Crossing leak had leaked information about the islands of New Horizons being upgraded, with additional space on the southern shore. The possibility that more space will be made available for farms if this leak is correct and island expansions are unavoidable raises the possibility that the farming mechanic will take center stage in the game. Due to the game's lack of focus during this year's E3 Expo, players are still waiting for information on the current state of the game and any upcoming changes.

Announcing new content for New Horizons in the near future has been communicated; however, it is currently unclear when or what type of content will be added. According to the current state of affairs, many Animal Crossing: New Horizons players are hopeful that this will herald a renewed focus on the game's farming system.
