Liz and Dan tied the knot at Misty Farm in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Their wedding featured blue because the main color with red, orange, and yellow accents.

For Liz, an essential element of her wedding was they incorporated local products. The flowers were local and also the caterer used local ingredients, along with serving up a vegetarian menu. Even the beer, wine, and liquor at their wedding were all produced in Michigan. The couple designed a strong effort to lessen the waste and damaging environmental impact of weddings by going local. The bridesmaids looked stunning in dresses.

Our main criteria were that people wanted to become outdoors and that we wanted it to be in or near Ann Arbor, where we live (also relatively central to see relatives). It was beautiful and perfectly suited to our needs.

I don't believe I could pick one most memorable moment. Walking on the aisle, saying our vows, man of honor/best woman speeches (my husband's and my close friends both are the opposite genders), our first dance. One of my favorite moments from the reception was when EVERYONE was around the dance floor carrying out a line dance, I think the Wobble. The entire barn was filled with people doing all of the moves together as well as for some reason why in particular struck me with how virtually everyone we like in the world is at one spot to celebrate around. We also had an impromptu sibling dance which was very special in my experience. I honestly didn't expect my wedding to become the best day of my entire life -- I feel like this is a very lofty expectation and never necessarily reasonable like a goal -- however it was. purple bridesmaid dresses.
