Start by Download Alexa App and Install Alexa App on your mobile device - there is a version of Alexa for the iPhone and Alexa for Android. You may not use this app often, but it's essential for the initial setup.
Plug in your Amazon Echo. Wait a few seconds for the ring at the top of the device to turn orange. This indicates it's ready to be set up.
