Think of WoW currently is. OSRS=Classic and RS3=Battle For Azeroth. RS3 is what Runescape has evolved in to RS gold over the last few years and is in its heart, the same game, but completely overhauled. Combat went I swing and do harm, you swing and do damage, to action pub skills and skills. They added a great deal of MTX which makes RuneScape game easy and requires a lot of the spirit and sense of accomplishment out. OSRS is how RuneScape match was using a ton of content and QOL additions, in 2007. It can be performed like a simpleton or you'll be able to go complete nerd that was sweaty and minute max your efficiency. You are able to do something like click on a tree and have your personality chop logs to raise your woodcutting degree while you pay little to no focus.

Or you may do something engaging such as fight bosses with their mechanics for hours attempting to get a sought after thing with a fall chance. You can spend hours and hours on that game and never come close to running out of things to do. I have over 1k hours in my character and have 1 maxed out skill. Actually it thats just skills and takes the player 2300-2500 hours to max out each skill level. That doesnt include the item searching, cash making, minigames etc in RuneScape game. If you enjoy grinding and having a feeling of accomplishment proceed for OSRS. And of course OSRS is playable on cellular phones. I wouldn't urge RS3 personally.

Returning player - OSRS or RS3 for play?

Been receiving the RS itch most of us get after a long time off from RuneScape game. I played so ago or 2 years. What game is best for play? I can play with a couple hours a day roughly. The 12 hour days of my youth are way behind me, but I miss RuneScape match and the memories that came with it! Also, any YT or sites you would recommend for guides? RS3 contains a grind and is better for endgame and PvM content, where OSRS is best for PvP. For casual play I'd say RS3. OSRS stayed true to'quite grindy nature, while RS3 has things like bonus exp and much higher exp levels to help players reach end-game quicker.

But there is no right or wrong answer. It depends on what you need out of RuneScape game. Try them. You'll see which you are going to end up needing to play with more. Honestly both are. RS3 is much more"modern" I guess and osrs is pretty much the classic game you recall but is clearly more afk (I figure ). The long 12 hour plays are a thing of the past with mobile. At home when doing such and chores, im always afking things.

I have a level OSRS account. Unfortunately my RS3 account is a goner since September of year. This was my greatest account with every skill 80+ for example 2 99s. Fletching while I was a sophomore in HS, I got I believe. I'm 25. I am stressing the starting over facet but I feel like that I could catch on RS3. I adored pvm content. Barrows was a blast for me because it was. I recall trying QBD with Armadyl and could never make it past the buy RuneScape gold 4th stage, therefore that I doubt the high level bossing is for me personally. I tended to stay with GW and Barrows inbetween skilling.
