The hardest part is making the alteration where sign-and-trades hard cap the receiving team. The simplest route is 2K21 MT to ignore this, which NBA 2K21 basically already does. Another route, which frankly should not be challenging but I might be naive, is to then trigger the hard cap at the luxury line, or luxury apron but I do not think 2K has got the apron in NBA 2K21. In case NBA 2K21 does hard cap you, a message ought to be appear that states"as a result of this sign-and-trade, you are now hard capped in the luxury tax. You have to eliminate $XM in contract to get under the tax line"

Now, you would be on delivered to your roster page and might have to waive/trade players to become under the tax line. NBA 2K21 would have to follow these measures, though transactionally it does not do that in real life - that the Warriors had to trade Andre Iguodala into the Grizzlies before completing the s&t with Brooklyn to get beneath the hard cap, however the arrangement of which the choices were made was in reverse. I expect that is enlightening and makes sense. I really don't think it should be that hard to execute in NBA 2K21 but I am not a coder or game maker so that I may just be naive.

Makes sense to me, though I doubt 2K places that much work into a non lucrative mode. The trade logic may mess it up too. Because players would have to have a reason to want the s+t (ie more cash, combine with another celebrity, get to a contender). These things are hard to code in in sure. Along with also the trading team would need a reason to do it too, to some lesser extent tho. Cap wouldn't be super difficult to get around because it will be off season and many teams would have cap and I believe that they can even go over since they'd technically sign a player with bird rights to maybe get a player they didn't have bird rights to (I believe that's the way the KD/Dlo trade happened too but I could be wrong).

With little cap space off this season, s+t is very likely to be huge again. The workaround for the trade logic is to simply turn it off completely if a S&T is agreed to. The preceding team doesn't have any incentive to diminish the transaction as they are getting something out of him rather than losing him. I really don't know code, but I don't know how that can be difficult to code in when there is an option in NBA 2K21 to literally turn off trade logic. The cap difficulty would be in the group being hard capped as a consequence of this S&T. You are correct, they could examine the cap however, like we're seeing Golden State this year, they're tight in the taxation exemption. That would be exactly what they would have to work around, forcing you under a hard cap should you acquire a player via S&T.

You are right, S&T will be the principal way teams acquire players this season so it'd be fine if they might include it. And I really don't think you'd utilize it only in MyLeague/GM, you can roll out in MyCareer. I don't play MyCareer so that the cap might not relate to the way you're able to sign with teams, but if it's limit associated you could opt to perform a S&T with a team which doesn't have cap space rather than be confined to just teams who have space. Can not have no commerce logic tho. You could readily get rid of buy NBA 2K21 MT Coins bad contracts and players that were bad. That would be the hang up I would guess. It's already too easy to eliminate contacts that are big. Tho. I think it'll be larger.
