• Shweta Tiwari on her daughter Palak’s debut: ‘She wants to sound like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan
Actor Shweta Tiwari, who has just made a successful comeback on television with her show Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, opposite Varun Badola, is being faced with queries about her daughter Palak’s screen debut. The actor, who ended her three-year-long sabbatical a few months after announcing her separation with husband Abhinav Kohli, says that the teenager has not signed her first project yet.

Putting all the speculations to rest, Shweta told Hindustan Times in an interview, “She’s waiting for a right project to come. She also wants to finish her studies first. She doesn’t want to hop into her career without proper education. She wants to take a degree and then start working. What she keeps saying is ‘When people come to interview me, I want to sound like Amit (Amitabh Bachchan) ji and Shah Rukh Khan, larger than life. I want to be well-read, I want to sound educated.’”
On being asked if she shares her own work experience with her daughter, Shweta said, “I do guide her only when she comes to me. Otherwise, I feel she is very mature and knows exactly what she wants. The kind of exposure that is there these days around us, they already know so much.”

When I were roaming at around Koteshwor- Balkumari Pool in Kathmandu a day before yesterday.

A guy was returning room most probably after his school while a girl on a scooty started teasing him from behind.⠀

I stopped there and started to watch the moment.
    ⠀⠀
She asked for his number and address.⠀
While the guy was peacefully ignored her and kept walking.⠀

After not getting any attention, she speed her scooty and went to him again.

When I asked the guy, why didn't you say anything?⠀

    He said, दाई के भनम ? केहि बोल्थ्ये भने उनी कराउन थल्थ्यिन् र फेरि यहाँ का जनता मलाई कुट थिए।

And It hit me. Before that one of my friends comment on me because of my post. I'm not going to open his name. I ignored him and I told, I'll belief you when I saw something like this myself and I did.

Whatever my friend said was completely correct.
    It happens in our country.⠀

We might fail to protect our daughters. We might fail to make them feel secure.⠀

But We never fail when we get a chance to sympathise a girl doesn't matter If she's wrong or right.

    Don't do it.⠀
Don't discriminate harassment on the basis of gender.⠀
No matter who does it, They deserve the same treatment.⠀

And in no way, I'm saying that Every girl is the same but the ones who are this article is for them.⠀

So, If it offends you, Change yourself.⠀

    Also,⠀⠀
No one deserves to be harassed whether its A Girl, A Boy or A transgender.⠀

Be a Human instead of being a disgrace on the name of humanity🙏🏻

Records mention the Gopalas and Mahishapalas believed to have been the earliest rulers with their capital at Matatirtha, the south-west corner of the Kathmandu Valley. From the 7th or 8th Century B.C. the Kirantis are said to have ruled the valley. Their famous King Yalumber is even mentioned in the epic, ‘Mahabharat’. Around 300 A.D. the Lichhavis arrived from northern India and overthrew the Kirantis. One of the legacies of the Lichhavis is the Changu Narayan Temple near Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Culture), which dates back to the 5th Century. It’s deeper than mere music.” And one can safely call her an authority on the matter because not only is she the musical and cultural icon Bob Marley’s granddaughter, but also one of the champions of the revival of reggae in recent times. Donisha spoke to us during her recent visit to Mumbai (after the reggae festival Goa Sunsplash 2019) where she held a workshop on hip-hop as well as reggae with the children of The Dharavi Project — the music and dance school that works towards enabling the youth of the slums using art.
