Of course, Rolex has some more important new models at Watches & Wonders 2023. A newer Daytona, move to the 12xxxx generation, the Yacht-Master 42 in titanium or the new dress watch, the convincing Perpetual 1908. Still, two new models—specifically, updates to existing watches in color and material—managed to garner a fair amount of attention. I'm talking about the new GMT-Master II watch with gold, specifically the steel and gold (called bi-tone or yellow Rolesor) reference 126713GRNR. At first, this watch was supposed to be everything I didn't like...but life is surprising sometimes.
