Obesity is on the rise. In America, nearly half of the population can be considered to be medically obese. From the beginning of the 21st century, the weight of the average person has been climbing – and it is a lot higher than what our ancestors in the previous centuries used to weigh. A number of factors have led to the excessive amount of weight gain and obesity crisis. Those factors include sedentary lifestyles, easy availability of high-carb junk food, lack of exercise, and long working hours. The rise of excess stress, lack of proper sleep, inflammation, and hormonal imbalances are also affecting the health, energy levels, and overall immune system of Americans.
