It is used to treat the following conditions such as schizophrenia and other psychoses (especially paranoid), mania and hypomania, anxiety psychomotor agitation excitement, violent or dangerously impulsive behaviour, intractable hiccup and nausea, vomiting of terminal illness (where other medicines have failed or are not available). It is also used to treat schizophrenia and autism (in children). It is not recommended for use in patients with CNS depression, bone marrow depression and Phaeochromocytoma. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Take CHLORPROMAZINE 50MG TABLET as directed by your physician. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a plenty of water and do not crush or chew the medicine.
