Seeds on the Move

Many seeds have their own special way of traveling. Some plants have seeds called burrs that catch onto fur or clothes. Burrs ride on animals and people to new places. Dandelion seeds are light and have a fluffy, white top. A puff of wind will blow the seeds far away. Maple-tree seeds have two fans that cause them to spin and drift away as they fall.
