Digital printing fabric is a printing made with digital technology. Digital printing technology is a high-tech product integrating machinery, computer and electronic information technology gradually formed with the continuous development of computer technology. The emergence and continuous improvement of this technology have brought a brand new concept to the textile printing and dyeing industry. Its advanced production principles and methods have brought an unprecedented development opportunity to textile printing and dyeing.

Digital printing is divided into digital direct printing and digital thermal transfer printing. Digital direct printing means: using a digital printer to directly print the patterns you need on various materials. For digital thermal transfer printing, it is necessary to print a printed pattern on special paper in advance, and then transfer it to various materials by means of thermal transfer, such as T-shirts, underwear, sportswear and other clothing.

The fabric determines the craft. Currently, there are four main types of digital printing:

(1) Dye sublimation of polyester fabric: This is the most popular process at present; because of the low investment threshold and simple printing process, general printing plants will equip it as a supplement to screen printing; only one printer and heat transfer machine are required, As well as sublimation ink and thermal transfer paper, a thermal transfer is currently developing in the direction of high speed and wide format.

(2) Reactive digital printing of pure, hemp, viscose, etc.; compared with polyester thermal transfer, active digital printing is more cumbersome and requires pre-processing, printing, steaming, water-based, qualitative, etc.

(3) Nylon-type acid digital printing.

(4) Paint direct spray printing.

At present, polyester is printed on paper and then thermally transferred to the cloth. Nylon is also fine, but the color fastness of some color systems is not ideal especially light. Cotton and silk are usually printed directly on the fabric, and the price is about twice that of polyester.
