Big changes that players have always wished for are being made to WoTLK Gold the game's Covenant system, which includes the widely disdainful Conduit Energy system. Blizzard has decided to eliminate Conduit Energy completely, writing in a thread on its forums that the system didn't perform as the creator wanted.

"We ought to have listened to the community's comments and decided to change direction one year ago," the post reads. "A majority of players do not use the system and do not feel aroused by it while the minority who want to participate in multiple content kinds competitively feel restricted by it. It all amounts to an unsatisfactory experience. Conduit Energy isn't really making the game better in any appreciable way therefore we're taking it off the game completely."

When players reach an adequate Renown rank can move freely between Covenants. This is an important change in that Blizzard at the time of the launch of Shadowlands made a big fuss about how crucial a choice a player's chosen Covenant could be, even going to the extent of scolding players who choose to switch to a different Covenant. With patch 9.1.5 players can change their Covenants to the heart and content without penalty in any way, allowing more experimentation with different Covenant abilities without feeling bound to a specific route.

All this is happening in addition to a host of other improvements, including the introduction of new character creation options that are earlier than originally planned, Legendary item recycling cheap WoTLK Gold, Legion timewalking dungeonsand streamlined unlock requirements for a lot of games' Allied Races, and more.
