Multi Crew Cooperation course –

MCC is an additional training for your Commercial Pilot License. It is necessary for flying within a crew (multi-pilot aircraft with aircrew consisting of at least two members).

To fly as a member in a Multi Pilot Aircraft (MPA), you must complete the Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) course. Enrol yourself on the course at ATPL Australia. The course aims to equip the pilot with the skills necessary for multi-crew cooperation (MCC), enabling them to fly multi-pilot, multi-engine aircraft in IFR safely. Eligibility Requirements

▪         Have a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating that is current (MEIR)

▪         Have a Flight Crew License (Theoretical ATPL with a Current CPL from EASA or JAA)

▪         Have a Valid JAR-FCL Class 1 Medical

▪         Demonstrate Your Command of English (ICAO Level 4)

▪         Be a holder of Multi-Engine Piston – MEP(A) class rating with Instrument Rating – IR

▪         Must hold a valid EASA Private Pilot License – PPL(A) or Commercial Pilot License – CPL(A)

Course Objective

MCC training aims to promote the best decision-making, communication, task division, checklist use, mutual supervision, collaboration, and support during all flight phases in normal, abnormal, and emergency situations. The emphasis of the training is on the growth of non-technical abilities necessary for working in a multi-crew environment.

The MCC course offers participants the chance to use their newly acquired abilities as team leaders and members. In addition, the candidates participate in training exercises as crew members in pilot flying (PF) and pilot not flying (PNF).Types of MCC course

Standard MCC

▪         Training time – 45 hours

- Theoretical training – 25 hours

- Simulator training time – 20 hours (Type of simulator – FBS Boeing B737NG)

Advanced MCC

▪         Duration – 65 hours

            - Theoretical training (hrs) – 35

            - Simulator time (hrs) – 30

MCC Course Cost

The cost of the course is EUR 2990. Expenses for training include the following:

▪         all instruction manuals

▪         access to the Boeing 737NG CBT Simulator and Learning Management System

Course duration: 2-3 weeks

▪         3 days of Technical Computer-Based Training (CBT) at home or at CAE Training Centre

▪         5 Full-flight simulator (FFS) sessions.

- Each FFS session should be of 4 hours in addition to briefing and debriefing
