World of Warcraft 's Mage Tower will be in place all the time, Blizzard recently confirmed.

A well-loved item of solo content, the Mage Tower first debuted as part of the game's Legion expansion. Once that expansion was finished it was the same for the Mage Tower as well as its unique rewards. Blizzard recently reinstated the tower with new rewards in a limited-time Legion Timewalking event which will take place every few months.

Soon the Mage Tower will be an integral part of Azeroth.

"Having read feedback and seen how it's been played out the way it was done, we think that a contest for personal skill being only available for just a few hours every few months isn't in the spirit of events," Blizzard writes. "As so, as of the 29th of March, the Mage Tower is available at any time, and will no any longer tied to the Legion Timewalking Bonus event."

The Mage Tower includes seven challenges to be overcome, by a player's class and specialization setting the tone of the encounters they'll be faced with. Rewards for success include unique costumes, achievements, and a unique Werebear form for Guardian Druids. While they're not the initial rewards introduced into the game in Legion (those are no longer available) These rewards are inspired by them. In the end, completing all seven challenges with cheap WoTLK Gold various characters will earn players another achievement and an exclusive mount called the Soaring Spelltome.
