Primarily and most importantly, the term "conversion of damage type" refers to the process of changing a portion or all of the original damage type into a new damage type, such as 50% physical damage being converted into fire damage. In this calculation, additional types of damage are not taken into account, such as the addition of 30% of physical damage to the fire damage. It does not matter whether the original damage is transformed or not. Damage is added to it if the original damage remains unchanged, but it does not matter whether it is transformed or partially transformed if the original damage remains unchanged. Damage is transformed or partially transformed if the original damage remains unchanged.

The following are the fundamental principles that govern the conversion of different damage types from one to another.

1. Damage conversion occurs prior to the completion of the calculations for Increase/Reduce Damage or More/Less Damage. And it was only changed once in the entire process. Depending on how the damage was converted, the converted damage can be modified either by the original damage type or by the current damage type, resulting in a different result. No more than 100% of the damage types of talent equipment, gems, and other items can be converted, and this includes a variety of other items. If the conversion of damage types of active skills exceeds the threshold, Path of Exile 2 will take precedence over the conversion of other damage types; otherwise, all other conversions will be scaled proportionally to the threshold. The following example illustrates how to prioritize an object-to-electricity gem when using a lightning arrow with a 50% object-to-electricity gem and a 30% object-to-fire quiver: the lightning gem with 50% object-to-electricity is given priority, and the remaining 50% of the object to electricity gems and object-to-electricity rocket bags are distributed in proportion to their power.

Whenever additional damage of a specific type is added in proportion to the value of the original type of damage (i. e., when the addition is compared to the transformation discussed above), the original type of damage before the conversion will be used as the basis for calculation. In the same way as with damage conversion, affixes associated with the original damage type can still be used to modify the result of the conversion.

Even though all physical damage has been converted into elements as a result of the transformation, the fire damage of the quiver, which has an additional 35% physical damage, will continue to function in the same scenario as Example 3. Physical damage is used to calculate the physical damage base for this affix. In this case, it is calculated on the basis of physical damage that has occurred prior to the complete transfer. As a result of completing addition of the fire injury, the additional fire injury is identical to the fire injury from the material to the fire, and it absorbs all of the physical damage bonus and fire damage bonus that were already in effect. Aside from that, the BD of Lightning Bolt + Physical to Lightning's 100% electric damage can still choose to activate the hatred aura, which adds 36% of the physical damage from lightning to the ice damage, effectively increasing the damage even more.

5. The damage type is applied in accordance with the conversion direction of Physical, Lightning, Cold, Fire, and Chaos, which can all be converted but not reversed by jumping, and in accordance with the conversion direction of Lightning, Cold, Fire, and Chaos. Because if you are successful in reversing the conversion, it is possible that you will become trapped in an infinite loop of transformation. Furthermore, the newly created types of damage that have been converted can continue to be created indefinitely after the conversion.

5) Traditionally, the pure fire knife array is designed to transfer half of the physical damage to fire through the incarnation of fire, and the remaining half of the physical damage to electricity through the material-to-electric gem; in addition, half of the converted lightning damage is converted to electricity through the will. Sixth, when calculating blood-sucking and continuous damage, the damage is calculated based on the type of damage that occurred after the conversion, and it does not include damage that occurred prior to the conversion (see point six).

As an illustration, if the fire is 100%, even if you have the possibility of being poisoned, you will not be poisoned because poisoning is dependent on the basic physical and chaos damage dealt by the initial skill, which is not the case if the fire is 100%. The fire will not cause any physical damage in its entirety, and no injuries will be sustained. As an example, in the situation described in Example 3, your bomber bow bd with a 100% object-to-electricity conversion and your physical attack damage vampire affix are both ineligible for use.

Last but not least, I'll say this:

In order for a specific type to be transferred away, it is necessary to calculate any proportional additions that may be required; otherwise, the transfer cannot be completed.

After you've completed the calculations, you can move on to the conversion stage.

unified additions are performed from A to B and B to C at the same time, and then from A to B and then B to C in turn; after all of the additions and conversions have been completed, unified additions are performed from A to B and B to C.

Damage type bonuses from previous rounds of addition and conversion are combined with damage type bonuses from newly formed new rounds of addition and conversion to form a total damage type bonus for the current round of addition and conversion.

Specifically, this BD mechanism makes use of two principles: the first is what I refer to as the conversion principle, which states that when there is a proportional Path of Exile M addition, it is necessary to calculate the addition first; and the second is what I refer to as the proportional addition principle, which states that the addition can be calculated more than once.

It is incorrect to believe that it is necessary to calculate the extras first when there are extras, and then after you have calculated the extras once, that you should calculate the extras a second time. Everything about it is perfectly fine.

It was not necessary to mention this multiple ratio addition when I posted this transformation mechanism post because there were not many other options available at the time, such as adding chaotic damage according to elemental damage percentages (x% or x%) or adding chaotic damage according to nonchaotic damage percentages (x%).
